Opera Workshop was founded in 1999 with a focus on helping opera singers find their acting talents and execute them in a natural and logical way while maintaining the disciplines which are necessary for the body to optimally function as a singing “instrument.” The workshops have taken place at three different locations since its early beginnings. Each location was chosen for its surroundings where participants are able to live, breath and sleep opera for the duration of the workshop.
“Cottonwood Falls has been an inspiring location for us to hold this year’s Opera Workshop and we are very excited for this cast of talented young singers to perform for the community,” said Sharp.
