2024 Major Presenting Sponsor

BNSF Railway is especially proud to partner and collaborate with Symphony in the Flint Hills in 2023. Transportation in the Flint Hills is a theme that we hold near and dear to our hearts. BNSF’s trains traveling through the hills are as common as the great blue sky and the tallgrass prairie that we adore. We share our history – with your history – while connecting the global marketplace.

Field Journal

Our Field Journal is a Flint Hills resource – the 16th Edition will be available in May 2025. Articles in each edition cover many topics related to Symphony in the Flint Hills annual theme. This year our theme is “Stewards of the Land.” We dedicate our Field Journal to all who value and protect and cherish our beautiful Flint Hills, from Flint Hills farmers and ranchers, Indigenous Americans and conservationists to schoolkids and city volunteers who have all engaged in their own brands of stewardship. You can also browse past editions or search our online database at New Prairie Press

Prairie Art Exhibit and Auction

Every year we host a Flint Hills-inspired juried Prairie Art Exhibit and Auction. Money raised supports the artists and our mission to “heighten appreciation and knowledge of the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie.”
