Cottonwood Falls, Kan. –Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. is proud to announce BNSF Railway as Major Presenting Sponsor for its 2016 Signature Event to be held June 11 in Chase County, Kansas. This is part of a three-year commitment that extends through 2017.
“We are honored to have BNSF join us again as Major Presenting Sponsor in 2016,” said Board Chair, Ginny Moxley. “BNSF has been a sponsor of our Signature Event since the beginning and has played a key role in the culture and economy of the Flint Hills region for nearly 150 years.”
The gift will make it possible for Symphony in the Flint Hills to advance its mission to heighten appreciation and knowledge of the tallgrass prairie and to provide an economic boost to rural communities. “We are proud to partner with Symphony in the Flint Hills again in 2016 and are happy for the opportunity to impact the communities we serve,” said BNSF Foundation President, Zak Andersen.
General admission tickets for the 2016 Event will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5.
