Symphony in the Flint Hills showcases the work of artists who capture the beauty of the Flint Hills. We select original pieces through a juried process, host an exhibit in our Cottonwood Falls gallery and auction the art after our Signature Event.

“Waves of Wind” by Roura Young

Each year, we proudly present our juried Prairie Art Exhibit and Auction, inspired by the beauty of the Flint Hills. Proceeds support both the talented artists and our mission to “heighten appreciation and knowledge of the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie.”

This year’s exhibit opens on Saturday, April 26, with a special Opening Reception from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Symphony in the Flint Hills Gallery, located at 331 Broadway in Cottonwood Falls. The show features more than 90 prairie-inspired works of art.

The full exhibit will be open to the public through Tuesday, June 17.

Online Auction

The online auction will open Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 17. Thank you to KC Auction Company, LLC for hosting this year’s auction.
