Dear Friends,
As Symphony in the Flint Hills comes to an end after nearly two decades of celebrating the tallgrass prairie through music and art, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you—the community of supporters, volunteers, artists, sponsors, and attendees—who made these years possible. Together, we honored the beauty of the tallgrass prairie and created memories that will last for generations.
While the organization’s work has come to an end, the legacy continues. The Chapman Center for Rural Studies at Kansas State University will maintain the Symphony in the Flint Hills website so that memories and resources, including the Field Guides, remain available for all to enjoy.
If you have questions about this transition, please reach out to the Chapman Center directly at chapmancenter@ksu.edu.
From all of us who have been part of the Symphony in the Flint Hills family—thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and your belief in the prairie.
With gratitude,
The Symphony in the Flint Hills Board of Directors & Staff
