Chisholm Trail Exhibit is on the Moove

The Symphony in the Flint Hills “Chisholm Trail: Driving the American West” exhibit is on the “moove.” The traveling exhibit, produced with our partners, Flint Hills Design and Lost Trail Soda, is now on display in Abilene at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum through October 17.

This original exhibit invites visitors of all ages to explore the Chisholm Trail from its inception in the 1860s to today. Exhibit highlights include an interactive musical exploration of the scores of verses to the cowboy song, “The Old Chisholm Trail,” video and audio clips of movies and songs that reference the Chisholm Trail, and several artistically rendered, life-size longhorn cattle.

If you’re still looking for Labor Day plans, don’t miss Abilene’s Trails, Rails and Tales event from Sept. 1-3. Learn more.
