Kelly Tastove is a 5th generation Kansan with experience as a successful business owner and county employee. Kelly co-owned the Flint Hills One Stop and managed a popular restaurant for years known as “the truck stop” in Chase County. Before, during and after her life as a business owner, Kelly also served as an employee of the Chase County Appraiser’s office and then as the Deputy Clerk for the county. Kelly started working with Symphony in the Flint Hills in 2006. With a penchant for detail, she worked on all aspects of the organization including office management, volunteer coordination and organizing the retail business. Because of her enduring relationships with the organization’s donors, Kelly was promoted to Donor Relations Manager for Symphony in the Flint Hills this past September. She manages the new donor database for Symphony in the Flint Hills and coordinates all aspects of management with the grassroots, patrons and sponsors for the organization. Kelly enjoys working with donors to help them fulfill their philanthropic wishes with the organization. You can find Kelly, smiling and welcoming our fans at the ticket gate on event day.
People rely on Kelly for her knowledge of the local area and her deep understanding of the culture of the Flint Hills and its people. Known affectionately as the best prankster in the office, Kelly knows how to balance fun and work so that everyone has a good time, no matter how high pressure planning events for 7,000 people may get. She prides herself in including her family, both immediate and extended in all that she does. Kelly and her husband, Kevin live in Bazaar, Kansas. Together, they own Tastove Trucking andenjoy watching their three boys, Bryan, Brad and Josh make their way successfully in the world. In her spare time, Kelly likes to remodel and design her house projects and spend as much time as possible on a cruise ship.
